Building and nurturing a generation of powerful self-assured and resilient children!

Designed to help children feel powerful and confident while unleashing their potential. Each child is encouraged to shine in their own way, to ignite their inner fire and self-belief. This should be the aim in every child's education. When we truly believe in ourselves we become unstoppable.

Our workshops are designed to help children from KS1 to KS4 build essential skills for healthy, happy lives. Practical strategies for friendships, cooperation and conflict resolution. Tools to communicate needs, set boundaries and advocate for themselves. We create a caring, inclusive learning environment where every voice is respected and heard. Children leave our workshops empowered, feeling safe, connected and heard with strategies to implement straight away.

Our mission is to empower children with key skills to cope with anxiety, low self-esteem and lack of connection both inside and outside the classroom. Every child's education needs this approach. At Club we encourage self-awareness, self-reflection and self-love so children will always have the skills to tune into how they are feeling. The tools they learn from the Curriculum will last a lifetime. Their personal journey continues forever but it starts here in a positive and powerful way.

Hi, I'm Joanie, founder of My Superpower Project. A former Secondary School teacher, Education Consultant, Chair of Governors and a proud mum of 3 children. I created My Superpower Project during Covid 19 and have been expanding ever since.
I am passionate about Education, Children's Mental Health. Wellbeing needs centre stage in school and is integral to every child's Education. I believe in giving children the tools they need to cope with an ever changing world. Self-belief goes a long way and can have a huge impact on one's mental health and success in life. That is where My Superpower Project shines a light on every child, highlighting their potential and raising their confidence. I want to help millions of children find their Superpowers and feel empowered. That is my mission!

My Superpower Club is a lunchtime and afterschool Club delivered in schools. The children delve into a journey of self discovery through art, drama, creativity, meditation, public speaking, mindfulness, teambuilding skills and games.
This Club is different to any other as the children explore a rich variety of forums for creative self-expression.
Children leave the Club feeling positive, confident and connected. This enhances their attitude to learning, confidence in the classroom and in friendships. Every child thrives when they prioritise their own wellbeing.
'I have loved finding my inner superpowers and inner peace. It has been amazing.' Lena (year 6)
'I liked learning about kindness and Boundaries' Amy (Year 4)
'You've really hit a nerve with our KS1 children at lunchtime! It's great!' Deputy Headteacher at Highgate

The 6-week curriculum delivers 6 modules over 6 weeks. The children explore topics tailored to promote confidence, self-worth and emotional development.
Each session is interactive, immersive and promotes connection.
Sessions cover Superpowers, Superskills, Mindfulness, Meditation, Boundaries and Healthy friendships.
Each workshop aims to equip the children with tools they will use in their futures, including calming down techniques and navigating their friendships. Children end the sessions feeling calm, grounded and empowered.
The 6-week curriculum mindfully weaves creativity, games, discussion, teamwork and so much more into the sessions. Headteachers have affirmed that My Superpower Project transforms classes and fosters a calm, safe environment for children to thrive. This is essential to every child's education!

We offer workshops on Friendships and Boundaries, Superpowers and Superskills and Calm down Strategies. School leaders commission workshops to target cohort interventions, year-group milestone moments or year groups about to transition into the next phase of their school journey. The workshops reinforce core objectives of the PSHE curriculums focusing on healthy relationships, clear boundaries, personal safety and self-identity.
Activities are designed to be age-appropriate, inclusive, and trauma-informed, ensuring accessible learning for all students. The workshops are transformative and offer wellbeing benefits for the teachers too.

Feedback from Headteachers about My Superpower Project:
'The sessions have supported children to build their own plethora of strategies to support their mental health and wellbeing. Class teachers have reported how the sessions have had a positive impact on their pupils' wellbeing as well as their friendships in and outside of the classroom....Joanie has been exceptionally professional throughout our My Superpower Project journey; delivering sessions with enthusiasm which have engaged our pupils in Y3&Y4 as well as our whole school during Joanie's launch assembly which captivated all pupils.'
M. Reilly, Headteacher, Fairway School 2025
'Joanie has a consistently calm and patient approach, even when under pressure. Her work requires a sensitive approach to the needs of the child she teaches. It enables children to have a voice about their mental health....In my opinion it is very worthy of curriculum time as it really complements the RHE curriculum as it teaches children strategies for coping with mental health issues.'
Miss Walker, Headteacher, Courtland Primary School 2026

''I've noticed significant improvements in his communication and behaviour. He is making more friends and interacting more with his peers in class. His teacher has also remarked on the positive changes in him. Since joining My Superpower Club, he has become more kind and helpful, not only with his brother at home but also in assisting me around the house.
Thank you so much. I truly appreciate your hard work.''

My son, Zac, set up his own business. Joanie recognised his superskills and employed him to do some design work for her logo and t-shirts. She was very supportive of his business and has a wonderful way with both children and adults.
Sara Harris, Essex
It's a joy to see Joanie fulfilling her purpose and her passion to help children become the very best they can be, firstly with her own children and then extending her gifts to others. She is committed to making a difference in the world, particularly with children. Her intuition, together with her knowledge and experience as a teacher, create a very fertile soil for the growth of all the blessed children who pass through her doors.
Stephanie Stock, London, MBACP (Accred)
My 10 year old daughter has really benefited from 'My Superpower Project'. She regularly talks about her superpowers (there's quite a few), but what's been really nice about this course is how much she reflects and writes down how she's feeling. She regularly does her 'Body Scan' and thinks about her general mindfulness, particularly after an evening of endless bickering with her elder brother. She's loved this course, and it has stuck with her, long after the course finished.
Parag Vaghjiani, London, Deputy Director, HM Treasury

Year-group transition moments - typically Y7, Y11, Y13 when children could use a boost to realign with who they are and where they want to be. Refocus a cohort with our inspiring workshops.
Target year group intervention - maybe you have a challenging cohort, bullying, disengaged pupils. Or hand pick children who would benefit from an external intervention to help reach their potential.
End of the summer term transition days - Year 6 groups about to transition to secondary school. Children moving from up a key stage who would benefit from a friendship and boundaries booster session.
